For the Buffalo Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Hot Sauce Ensure it's vegan-friendly
  • 1/4 cup Vegan Butter Substitute with coconut oil if needed
  • 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar Lemon juice can be used as a substitute
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup Optional, can replace with agave syrup

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Remove leaves and stem from the cauliflower, then slice into 1 to 1½ inch thick steaks.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the cauliflower steaks, ensuring space between each.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until blended.
  5. Roast the cauliflower steaks in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Prepare the buffalo sauce by mixing hot sauce, melted vegan butter, apple cider vinegar, and maple syrup in a saucepan over low heat.
  7. Brush the tops of the roasted cauliflower steaks with the buffalo sauce and return to the oven for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
  8. Serve garnished with parsley or chives and enjoy with vegan ranch or fresh veggie sticks.
