Ingredients
  

For the Salmon
  • 1 lb Salmon Fillet Frozen is fine if fully thawed.
  • 1 unit Cedar Plank Soak for at least 1 hour.
For the Garlic Butter
  • 1/4 cup Butter Substitute with vegan margarine or coconut oil for dairy-free.
  • 3-4 cloves Garlic Minced for an aromatic boost.
For the Honey Dijon Glaze
  • 2 tbsp Honey Maple syrup is a great alternative.
  • 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard

Method
 

Grilling Instructions
  1. Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 1 hour to prevent burning.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium heat, around 350°F to 375°F.
  3. Melt about ¼ cup of butter in a saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Place salmon skin-side down on a board and brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the top.
  5. Lay the soaked cedar plank on the grill grate for 2-3 minutes until it smokes. Place the buttered salmon on the plank, skin-side down and grill for 12-15 minutes.
  6. During the last 5 minutes, brush honey Dijon glaze over the salmon.
  7. Check for doneness after 18-20 minutes; internal temperature should be around 145°F.
  8. Remove the cedar plank with salmon from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
