Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by cutting the watermelon into chunks and removing all seeds. Blend until smooth.
  2. Add sugar and fresh orange juice to the watermelon puree and blend until well combined.
  3. For a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a shallow dish and freeze for about 1 hour.
  5. After an hour, scrape the icy edges with a fork and return to the freezer. Repeat every 30-60 minutes for 3-4 hours.
  6. Scoop the fluffy granita into chilled cups and garnish with mint leaves before serving.
