Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine ½ cup of softened unsalted butter and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Beat together until creamy.
- Add 2 large eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, whisk together until incorporated.
- In another bowl, sift together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with ½ cup of milk. Stir until just combined.
- Fold in 2 cups of chopped apples.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes.
- Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- For the glaze, mix 1 cup of powdered sugar with 2-3 tablespoons of milk until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled loaf.
