  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs essential for binding

Apple Filling

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk to adjust consistency

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ½ cup of softened unsalted butter and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Beat together until creamy.
  3. Add 2 large eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, whisk together until incorporated.
  4. In another bowl, sift together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with ½ cup of milk. Stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in 2 cups of chopped apples.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes.
  8. Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  9. For the glaze, mix 1 cup of powdered sugar with 2-3 tablespoons of milk until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled loaf.
