  • 1/2 cup Butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon Can mix with nutmeg or ginger
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons Heavy cream Can swap with milk

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Peel and dice the apples, then toss with flour.
  2. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl to make the swirl mixture.
  3. Cream melted butter and granulated sugar, then add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt, then add to the wet ingredients alternating with milk.
  5. Layer half the batter in a greased loaf pan, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, add remaining batter, and then swirl.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 55-65 minutes.
  7. Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack, and prepare the glaze.
  8. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bread.
