Step-by-Step Instructions for Spicy Korean Tofu
- Drain the tofu and slice it into 1/4-inch rectangles. Pat dry with a paper towel.
- Combine soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, Korean red chili powder, and pounded red chili in a mixing bowl. Stir in water and add white sesame seeds.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, add oil and fry tofu slices for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip tofu slices and cook for another 3-4 minutes until crispy.
- Pour in the prepared sauce and simmer for 2-4 minutes, coating the tofu.
- Transfer tofu to a serving platter, drizzle with remaining sauce and garnish with green onion.
