Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with olive oil.

  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is soft and translucent.
  4. Transfer the beef mixture to the baking dish, then layer thin slices of potatoes on top, seasoning with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.

  7. After 30 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until potatoes are tender and cheese is golden.
