  2. In a medium bowl, combine all-purpose flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the buttermilk into a separate shallow bowl.
  4. Take your onion rings and first dip them into the buttermilk, then transfer them to the flour mixture.
  5. Return the coated onion rings to the buttermilk, followed by a dredging in panko breadcrumbs.
  6. Carefully place the coated onion rings into the hot oil, frying in small batches for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Once golden and crispy, use a slotted spoon to transfer onto a paper towel-lined plate. Serve warm with dipping sauces.
