Making the Rolls
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, coconut sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir until evenly blended.
- Whisk together dairy-free yogurt, melted coconut oil, and non-dairy milk in another bowl until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently fold until a dough begins to form.
- Lightly flour your countertop and transfer the dough onto the surface. Roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Brush the rolled-out dough with melted coconut oil, then sprinkle evenly with cinnamon and chocolate chips.
- Using a sharp knife, slice the rolled dough into 5-6 equal pieces.
- Cover the baking dish with a clean kitchen towel and allow the rolls to rise for about 30-60 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes.
- Let the rolls cool for about 5-10 minutes and then spread dairy-free cream cheese frosting over them.
