For the Croissants
  • 1 package Croissant Dough Pre-made or homemade
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips Semi-sweet recommended
  • 1 medium Egg For wash
For Dusting (Optional)
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar For dusting

Method
 

Instructions for Chocolate Chip Croissants
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll the pre-made croissant dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  2. Add a few chocolate chips at the wide end of each triangle. Roll them starting from the wide end to the pointed tip.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place each rolled croissant on the sheet.
  4. Beat an egg and use a pastry brush to apply a thin layer of egg wash over the tops of the croissants.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes and dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
