- Start by placing 1.5 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker, evenly spread out.
- Pour 16 oz of your favorite salsa directly over the chicken, then sprinkle taco seasoning generously on top.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 2.5–3 hours.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken using tongs and shred it on a cutting board.
- Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir in 4 oz of cream cheese until fully melted.
- Serve your Crockpot Salsa Chicken in tacos, over rice, or as a topping for nachos.
