Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your ingredients while the oven heats.
  2. In a large skillet, brown 1 pound of ground beef over medium-high heat, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 can of cream of chicken soup and 1 cup of sour cream until smooth.
  4. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and layer half of the hash browns evenly.
  5. Add half of the browned ground beef, half of the creamy mixture, and a sprinkle of shredded cheese. Repeat the layers.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes until edges are bubbling and top is golden brown.
