Casserole Base
  • 1 pound Ground Beef Drain excess grease.
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup Can substitute with cream of mushroom or celery.
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
Potato Layer
  • 30 ounces Frozen Shredded Hash Browns Thaw before baking.
Cheesy Topping
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese Freshly shredded for best results.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef thoroughly, about 5-7 minutes, and drain any excess grease.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup and sour cream until smooth.
  4. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Layer half of the thawed hash browns, then the browned beef, creamy mixture, and a layer of cheddar cheese. Repeat the layers.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  6. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
