Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and instant yeast. Let sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Mix in yogurt and olive oil until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until a shaggy dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  6. Mix mozzarella and cheddar together in a bowl for the cheese filling.
  7. Melt butter in a small bowl, mix in minced garlic and optional parsley.
  8. Punch down the risen dough and turn it onto a floured surface.
  9. Divide dough into 8 equal portions and shape each into a ball.
  10. Flatten each ball into a 5-inch circle on a floured surface.
  11. Place 2-3 tablespoons of cheese filling in the center, then gather edges to seal.
  12. Roll each stuffed ball into an oval shape, about ¼ inch thick.
  13. Preheat skillet over medium-high heat.
