Step-by-Step Instructions for Garlic Cheese Toast
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the top off a garlic bulb, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 45 minutes.
  2. Squeeze the roasted garlic into a bowl. Add softened butter, salt, oregano, basil, and red pepper flakes. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Slice French bread sticks into ½ inch pieces. Spread the garlic mixture evenly over each slice.
  4. Bake the toast in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
