  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
For Garnish and Flavor
  • 1 teaspoon White Pepper Adjust to heat preference.
  • 2 stalks Green Onions Sliced for garnish.
  • optional Soy Sauce Drizzle for umami flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil For finishing touch.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Rinse the jasmine rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear. Drain well.
  2. In a large pot, combine the rinsed jasmine rice, chicken stock, ginger, garlic, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the pot. Lower the heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for about 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove the chicken, shred it into bite-sized pieces, and return it to the pot. Simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  5. Season with white pepper and soy sauce if desired. Serve hot with sesame oil and green onions on top.
