Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Homemade Cherry Lemonade
  1. Begin by rinsing 1 pound of fresh cherries under cool running water. Remove the stems and pit each cherry, discarding any damaged ones.
  2. In a blender, combine the prepared cherries with ½ cup of cold water. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until you achieve a smooth mixture.
  3. Pour the blended cherry mixture into a fine-mesh strainer set over a large pitcher. Use the back of a spoon to press down the solids, extracting as much juice as possible.
  4. Add 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice into the strained cherry juice in the pitcher. Stir in ½ cup of sugar, mixing until fully dissolved.
  5. Pour in the remaining 4 cups of cold water into the pitcher, stirring well to combine all the flavors.
  6. Once chilled, fill tall glasses with ice cubes and generously pour in the Homemade Cherry Lemonade. Garnish each glass with a slice of lemon and a whole cherry.
