  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder or fresh garlic
  • 2 large Beaten Eggs no substitute available

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine fresh corn, creamed corn, sour cream, shredded cheddar, honey, and melted butter. Mix well for 2-3 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together cornmeal, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, folding gently until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the beaten eggs until fully integrated.
  6. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and pour in the corn mixture, smoothing out the surface.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the casserole cool for 5-10 minutes before garnishing with chopped chives or parsley. Serve warm.
