Method
 

Cold Foam Preparation
  1. Combine 1/4 cup heavy cream, 2 tablespoons banana bread syrup, and 2 tablespoons whole milk in a small jar. Froth for about 20-30 seconds until frothy.
Matcha Preparation
  1. Heat 1 cup of water until boiling. Sift 2 teaspoons pure matcha powder into a bowl, then pour in hot water and whisk for about 30 seconds.
Building the Base
  1. In a tall glass, fill with ice. Pour in 1 cup preferred milk and 2 tablespoons brown sugar syrup. Stir well.
Combining
  1. Pour whisked matcha into the glass with milk and syrup, then stir gently.
Serving
  1. Spoon cold foam on top and sprinkle crushed maple sugar if desired. Serve immediately.
