- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat until it reaches around 350°F.
- Spread about 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Cook the bread for about 2 minutes until golden brown, then flip and toast the other side for another 2 minutes.
- Remove two slices and spread mayonnaise on the unbuttered sides.
- On one mayo-spread slice, add lettuce, tomato, salt, pepper, bacon, and cheddar cheese.
- Layer another mayo-spread slice on top, add turkey, lettuce, and tomato, then top with the last slice, mayo side down.
- Insert toothpicks into the corners and cut the sandwich diagonally into quarters.
