Step-by-Step Instructions for Slow Cooker Teriyaki Chicken
  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Pour teriyaki sauce and soy sauce over, then add brown sugar, minced garlic, and ginger. Stir gently.
  2. Cover and set the slow cooker to low heat for approximately 5 hours.
  3. About 30 minutes before it’s done, heat a skillet over medium heat. Stir-fry bell peppers and broccoli for 5–7 minutes.
  4. Once cooking is complete and chicken is at 165°F, shred the chicken directly in the cooker, mixing with sauce.
  5. Serve over rice, adding stir-fried vegetables on the side or mixed in.
