Step-by-Step Instructions for Slow Cooker Teriyaki Chicken
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Pour teriyaki sauce and soy sauce over, then add brown sugar, minced garlic, and ginger. Stir gently.
- Cover and set the slow cooker to low heat for approximately 5 hours.
- About 30 minutes before it’s done, heat a skillet over medium heat. Stir-fry bell peppers and broccoli for 5–7 minutes.
- Once cooking is complete and chicken is at 165°F, shred the chicken directly in the cooker, mixing with sauce.
- Serve over rice, adding stir-fried vegetables on the side or mixed in.
