Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, fine sea salt, and granulated sugar until well combined.
  3. Pour in the unsweetened plant milk and olive oil into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until a shaggy dough forms.
  4. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces, roll each into a rope about 7-8 inches long, tie them into knots and place them on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake the knots for 13-15 minutes until light golden.
  7. Melt the vegan butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  8. Stir in the nutritional yeast, fresh parsley, garlic powder, and additional salt to taste. Mix thoroughly.
  9. Brush the garlic coating generously over each knot while they are still hot.
