Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine cocoa powder, sugar, flour, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth. Pour into a greased baking pan.
  2. Bake for 25–30 minutes until edges are firm and center springs back gently. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  3. Gather decoration elements. If using shredded coconut, color it with green food coloring for a grass effect. Have Peeps and chocolate eggs ready for quick access.
  4. Once brownies are cool, cut into squares and create small indentations in the center for nests. Optionally, dust edges with coconut.
  5. Place one or two marshmallow Peeps in each brownie nest and surround with chocolate eggs.
  6. Arrange the decorated brownies on a platter and serve.
