Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prep the Ribs: Remove the tough membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry.
  2. Mix the Sauce: Combine bourbon, brown sugar, smoky paprika, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and ground black pepper in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
  3. Cook the Ribs: Place the ribs in the crockpot, brush half of the BBQ sauce over them, cover, and cook on low for 6 hours.
  4. Finish the Ribs (Optional): Broil the cooked ribs for 2-3 minutes with remaining BBQ sauce for extra glaze.
