Ingredients

For the Patties
  • 1.5 pounds Ground Beef (80/20 blend) Provides juicy patties; avoid leaner beef for a drier result.
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce Boosts umami flavor in the patties; essential for depth.
For the Toppings
  • 8 ounces Bacon Adds crispy texture and smoky flavor; turkey bacon can be a lighter option.
  • 2 medium Onion Caramelized for sweetness and depth; shallots can be used for a milder taste.
  • 0.5 cups Guinness (or Irish Stout) Enhances caramelization and adds rich flavor; any dark beer works too.
  • 4 slices Sharp Cheddar Cheese Adds creamy richness; Gruyère makes a delightful substitute.
For the Buns and Sauce
  • 4 pieces Brioche Burger Buns Soft texture and buttery flavor; gluten-free buns are a great alternative.
  • 0.5 cups Sour Cream Creamy element in the sauce; Greek yogurt is a healthier substitution.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard Adds a tangy kick; use yellow mustard for a milder flavor.
