  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 large Egg Optional, acts as a binding agent.
  • 1 cup Cheese Optional, add your favorite.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the cabbage into thick ½ inch slices. Brush both sides with olive oil and arrange on the baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix the ground meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Add egg if using, and combine well.
  4. Shape the meat mixture into patties to fit the cabbage slices. Place each patty on a cabbage slice.
  5. Bake the burgers in the oven for about 25 minutes, until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. If adding cheese, sprinkle it on top after baking and broil for an additional 3-5 minutes until melted.
  7. Serve the cabbage burgers immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
