  • 6 cups Rice Krispies Opt for gluten-free crispy rice cereal for a suitable dessert for all!
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted Butter Adds a rich flavor while helping to bind the ingredients.
  • 4 cups Mini Marshmallows Jet-Puffed mini marshmallows melt perfectly.
For the Colors
  • 1 bottle Food Coloring (red and blue) Consider natural powders for a healthy alternative.
  • 1 cup Patriotic Sprinkles Optional, for a fun decorative touch.

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Melt the butter and marshmallows by heating in the microwave until smooth.
  2. Combine melted mixture with Rice Krispies, stirring until well-coated.
  3. Divide the mixture into three bowls; color one red, one blue and leave one white.
  4. Press the red mixture into a greased 9x9-inch pan.
  5. Add and press the white mixture on top of the red layer.
  6. Finish with the blue layer, pressing it down gently.
  7. Allow to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting.
