Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out your fresh pizza dough into a thin rectangle, approximately ¼ inch thick.
  2. Evenly layer slices of fresh mozzarella and salami across the rolled-out dough, leaving about an inch of space at the edges.
  3. Carefully roll the dough over the filling to create a tight cylinder, pinching the seams together to seal.
  4. Whisk together one egg and a splash of water. Brush this egg wash over the surface of your stromboli.
  5. Transfer your stromboli to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow the stromboli to cool for about 5 to 10 minutes before slicing and serving warm with marinara sauce.
