Step-by-Step Instructions for Shredded Balsamic Beef
  1. In a 6-quart slow cooker, combine the broth, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and smashed garlic. Mix until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Season the beef chuck roast generously with salt and pepper and place it in the slow cooker. Pour some of the sauce over the top.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for about 8 hours until the beef is tender.
  4. Remove the beef and shred it using two forks. Return it to the slow cooker and mix with the remaining sauce.
  5. Serve the beef in rolls or over cauliflower rice.
