Step-by-Step Instructions for Savory Succotash
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add chopped bacon and cook for 5-7 minutes until crispy and golden-brown. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking. Once done, remove with a slotted spoon and set aside on a paper towel.
  2. In the same skillet with the reserved bacon fat, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant and golden.
  3. Add sweet corn, diced zucchini, and drained lima beans. Stir gently to combine and sauté for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but crisp.
