For the Vegetables
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets or snow peas/green beans
  • 1 large Red Bell Pepper sliced
  • 1 medium Zucchini sliced
  • 1 cup Mushrooms sliced
For Serving
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil for sautéing
  • 4 cups Steamed White Rice or brown/cauliflower rice

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prep all ingredients: wash and chop the broccoli, zucchini, and red bell pepper into bite-sized pieces, and mince the garlic cloves finely.
  2. In a large pan, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, then stir in ground beef.
  3. Cook until browned for about 5-7 minutes, then mix in soy sauce, chili flakes, and brown sugar and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. In another skillet, heat olive oil, sauté 1 minced garlic clove, then add mushrooms and cook until golden.
  5. Add broccoli, zucchini, and red bell pepper; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Assemble the bowl with rice, sautéed vegetables, and top with ground beef mixture.
