Step-by-Step Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta shells and cook for 10 minutes until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
- Sear the Steak: Pat the steak dry, season with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter; add steak and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side. Add half of minced garlic in last minute and stir in.
- Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat and melt remaining butter. Add garlic, sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream, stir and add Italian seasoning and paprika. Simmer for 4-5 minutes.
- Whisk in Parmesan: Gradually whisk in Parmesan until melted and smooth. Add reserved pasta water to adjust consistency if necessary.
- Combine & Serve: Toss drained pasta shells in sauce, fold in sliced steak, heat through. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve immediately with parsley and extra Parmesan.

Notes
Tips for best results include patting steak dry before searing and avoiding overcrowding the skillet when cooking multiple steaks.
