Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and lay down sliced onions evenly.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together light brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, flaky sea salt, ground black pepper, and cinnamon.
  4. Rinse the baby back ribs under cold water and pat dry. Brush with balsamic glaze and sprinkle half the dry rub on one side.
  5. Place the ribs on the onion bed and rub remaining spice mixture all over.
  6. Roast in the oven for 2 1/2 hours, checking occasionally.
  7. After roasting, brush with strawberry simple syrup and roast for an additional 30 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven and brush again with strawberry barbecue sauce; allow to rest for 15 minutes before serving.
