Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by draining the firm tofu and pressing it for 15-20 minutes to remove excess moisture.
  2. Slice the pressed tofu into uniform 1-inch cubes.
  3. Whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl to make the sauce.
  4. Coat each tofu cube in cornstarch, shaking off excess.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the tofu cubes until golden brown.
  6. Remove the tofu from the skillet and drain on a towel-lined plate.
  7. In the same skillet, add the honey garlic sauce and simmer for 1 minute, then add the tofu to coat.
  8. Transfer the coated tofu to a serving platter, garnish, and serve.
