  • 1 cup Medjool Dates Soaked in hot water for 10 minutes
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter Can substitute with almond butter
  • 1 cup Almond Flour Can swap with oat flour for gluten-free

  • 1/2 cup Roasted Peanuts Salted peanuts enhance flavor
  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips Use dairy-free for vegan option
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Oil Used to melt chocolate

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Soak the Medjool dates in hot water for about 10 minutes to soften.
  2. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
  3. Blend soaked dates and peanut butter in a food processor until smooth.
  4. Add almond flour to the date-peanut butter mixture and blend again until combined.
  5. Press the nougat mixture firmly into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Spread the reserved date caramel over the nougat layer and sprinkle roasted peanuts on top.
  7. Freeze the assembled bars for 60-90 minutes until firm.
  8. Melt dark chocolate chips with coconut oil in the microwave until smooth.
  9. Coat the frozen bars with the melted chocolate mixture and return to the freezer for another 10-15 minutes.
  10. Serve chilled and enjoy your healthier sweet treat!
