Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Warm the milk, sprinkle the yeast, let bloom for 5 minutes. Mix oats, flour, spices, and salt in a bowl. Add yeast mixture and melted butter, mix into shaggy dough.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Form into a ball and place in a greased bowl.
  3. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm area until doubled in size, about 1-2 hours.
  4. Punch down the dough, transfer to a floured surface, divide into 12 pieces, and shape into balls. Place in a greased baking dish.
  5. Cover the baking dish and let the rolls rise for 30-45 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool in the baking dish for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
