  • 2 tablespoons Chili Powder Adjust quantity based on spice preference.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Can be replaced with fresh minced garlic.
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Omit if unavailable.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Opt for smoked paprika for additional flavor.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper Adjust for personal taste.
For Garnish
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro Leave out if cilantro isn’t preferred.

Method
 

Marinade Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, and salt and pepper to taste.
Marinating Chicken
  1. Place chicken breasts into a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking Chicken
  1. Preheat your grill or pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Remove chicken from marinade, drip excess off, and cook on grill for 6-7 minutes per side.
  3. Check internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) for doneness.
Resting and Serving
  1. Transfer chicken to a cutting board to rest for about 5 minutes.
  2. Slice or serve whole. Garnish with cilantro if desired.
